The mission of the Physics Department of the Escuela Politecnica Nacional is to generate, assimilate and apply the knowledge of the physical sciences, transmit and disseminate their results to society, strengthening their education and culture in Physics, contributing to their development and well-being.
Our department is at the forefront of research in Nanotechnology, Material Sciences, Biophysics, Theoretical Physics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics. We are members of the at CERN.
El Departamento de FÃsica, como parte de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional, tiene como misión: generar, asimila y aplicar el conocimiento de las ciencias fÃsicas; transmitir y difundir sus resultados a la sociedad, fortaleciendo su educación y cultura en FÃsica, contribuyendo a su desarrollo y bienestar.
Nuestro departamento esta a la vanguardia de la investigación en NanotecnologÃa, Ciencia de Materiales, BiofÃsica, FÃsica Teórica, AstrofÃsica y FÃsica de Particulas. Somos miembro de la en CERN.
